Scarperia is a medieval village located just outside of Florence, known throughout the world as “the city of cutting irons”. The production of knives and cutting tools is an activity that has been passed down since the fifth century, and even today, the handcrafted knives of Scarperia are still known and appreciated worldwide. Saladini knifemakers have been working in Scarperia since the mid-nineteenth century, and still today the passion of our ancestors lives on through our handcrafted knives. We combine the tradition of handmade goods with a modern design, a distinctive characteristic featured in all our products.
