This Bicentennial Bowie was produced for the National Rifle Association in 1976. 200 of these knives were made, numbered 1776 to 1976.The knife features a stainless steel blade with deep etching on both sides, sterling silver fittings, and a walnut handle with an ivory inlay on the back side. 3/16" blade thickness and 1 5/8" blade depth. Numbered 1973 on the ivory inlay. The silver fittings have a green patina from age. Blade Steel: Etched Stainless Steel
