Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This is a rare custom hunter made by Rob that includes the Parasite companion blade. The Parasite can be inserted into the rear of the handle for storage and stays in securely. 3/16" blade thickness and 1 1/8" blade depth. Satin finished blade and bolsters. Very nice arrowhead-pattern filework along the spine. Nicely contoured snakewood handle. Perfect fit and finish. The knife is in mint condition and would be a treasure to any Simonich collector.

The Parasite has a blade length of 1 3/4" and is 4 3/4" overall. It also has arrowhead-pattern filework along the spine. Includes a lanyard for easy removal from storage. Has matching filework. Made prior to 2000. Blade Steel: CPM420V

"You won't hear me bragging much about my knives, my customers do it for me. I use what I feel are the best raw materials I can find. For blade steel, my favorites are D-2, ATS-34 and CPM-440V. I carefully heat treat, freeze, triple temper and hardness test during the blade making process. If a blade doesn't meet these specs, into the garbage it goes. When you first get a new knife from me, it will be extremely sharp. Don't be disappointed if it dulls quickly, as it is actually too sharp. Re-sharpening one or two times will get rid of the ""wire edge"", and then the blade will really start to perform. I use diamond stones of medium and fine grit, and I recommend you do too. I like how the edge then bites into what I'm cutting. I guarantee my knives in materials and workmanship..as long as you don't abuse them!! It looks impressive, but we all know a fine blade used as a chisel becomes a lousy chisel. Knives are for cutting, not prying or turning screws." Rob passed away in 2003.
