Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

The Ripper by Rainy Vallotton is so named for the "serrated" liners which extend downward from the tail of the handle. The blade has a bead blast finish with false top edge, dual checkered thumbstuds. The handle has finger grooved contoured black/blue G-10 scales, anodized titanium liners and a blasted stainless steel backspacer. Automatic button trigger is flush with the handle and dual thumbstuds provide ambidextrous manual opening. Linerlock closure. Nice lockup. "Prototype" on the blade. Has some scuffs and staining on the blade, otherwise excellent condition.

We are a three generation Family of Knifemakers. Automatics are our specialty. The use of Exotic material is standard practice. Butch Vallotton is considered one of the finest automatic knifemakers specializing in double action autos and for converting manual folders into automatic. He started making knives full time in 1984, making his first auto in 1987. His assisted knife technology is in current use by Gerber, and he has worked with Spyderco and Microtech designing the very collectible Chameleon Double Action.
