Use it, abuse it, put it away wet or dirty, the knife will last a lifetime."This one is SPECIAL. A special project for the government had Mission drill the tang and insert a steel rod before the handle was molded on. This was to test creating a lightweight yet magnetic knife that would not foil security magnetometers. Law enforcement and military personnel were concerned that a totally non-magnetic titanium knife would fall into the wrong hands. No funding was ever provided and Mission only made about 50 of the so-called "Magnetic" MPKs. This one is unissued. Comes with Kydex sheath. Like new except the sheath marks. Blade Steel: Titanium
