Overview
"This Paul® Defender ?Aces & Eights? honors the legacy of Cowboy legend ?Wild? Bill Hickok. The story begins August 2, 1876, Wild Bill Hickok (Marshal of Deadwood, Black Hills, Dakota Territory) was playing poker at Nuttal & Mann's Saloon. On this fateful day, Wild Bill violated one of his own cardinal rules and was sitting with his back to the saloon doors, a practice he had never violated before, when an ex-buffalo hunter named John (?Broken Nose Jack?) McCall entered the saloon and shot him in the back of the head. Wild Bill was killed instantly. There lay, on the table, Wild Bill?s last poker hand, a pair of aces and a pair of eights, all black in suit. Hickok's "Aces and eights" hand has become widely accepted as the "Dead Man's Hand.?Lone Wolf Knives?
