Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Hawk by Reese Weiland features a hawkbill blade with mirror polished grinds and satin finished flats. The handle has a titanium frame with bark mammoth ivory overlays. Nice lockup and blade seating. Marked on the blade spine "RW TI 009". Has some light scratches, otherwise excellent condition.

This knife has an interesting story. When Reese and Tony Marfione were collaborating on this model, Tony paid Reese in parts. The body of this knife is from Microtech, but all of the work was done by Reese. This was a custom order by the person selling it, mammoth ivory was the choosen scale material. It looks awesome!

"My interest in knives began when I was 12 years old. I had an uncle, an amateur archaeologist, who made knives out of saw blades. After receiving a book on how to make knives from him one Christmas, I made a sword out of a piece of junk and gave it to my uncle. I became a member of the Knifemaker's Guild in 1988. The following year, I made my first folding knife."
