Overview
"Ok, the word is out. So sick of seeing what people are putting on the market for use as an Integrated Combat Clearing Knife. Most are good for giving someone a paper cut and opening your mail with and in one case the trainer makes for a better weapon than the knife itself. My answer, I give you the 'Ghost' made by ZU Bladeworx. It's light and small made in one piece German steel that will go through a car door which makes it perfect to also be used as an Integrated Combat Working Knife if you want to roll out light. It will attach anywhere and is secure for 'Jumping in' and water ops however will release to your hand as soon as you touch it. This is due to its tactical sheath made for this knife and works in the same way as the worlds best pistol holster. The tactical sheath works left and right handed and will attach to belt or rig and can be angled to suit personal preference. The end product comes in sniper grey for low shine with the tactical sheath and a red metal trainer. This is made in Australia by an Australian owned company for the enhancement of my Integrated Combat courses and is legal to own in Australia. There is nothing better on the market today for my needs on the battlefield than the Ghost! Thanks ZU Bladeworx for putting up with my wants, needs and demands in making this tactical knife and delivery system." - Paul Cale
Paul Cale, ex 2 Commando and TAG East of the Australian Army, is about to commence his Infantry Integrated Combat Course for the Australian Army. Paul has already been instructing Australian, USA and Japanese Special Forces units in close quarters battle for some time.
Some information about the course is here - http://www.news.com.au/national/australias-real-commando-paul-cale-to-teach-infantry-corps-combat/story-fncynjr2-1226821443475
In his quest for a suitable blade to use for the course, Paul discovered ZU Bladeworx, a manufacturer of edged tools from Sydney Australia. He met with ZU Bladeworx and worked on a design that he knew would fit his requirements. In addition, Paul has always been a big advocate of supporting Australian industry so the knife would have to be 100% Australian made. After much discussion and planning, the GHOST was born. The GHOST is the first in the line of Paul Cale Signature products, made exclusively by ZU Bladeworx and intended for Australian defense personnel.
Paul has authorised ZU Bladeworx to initially sell a number of GHOST knives to the collector market. This is the civilian version and will have slightly different markings to the ones used by Australian Army personnel. The only way to get a marked version is to complete Paul's Infantry Integrated Combat Course. Apart from that, it is the exact same knife used in Paul's training courses.
