Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

Hand forged from stainless laminated steel with a Super Blue Steel core laminated between SUS410 stainless mild steel. This steel affords the keenest possible edge. The handle has black/yellow carbon fiber scales with nickel silver pins. .170" thickness with a 1.272" blade depth, full tapered tang. Contoured handle with an finger grooves and a choil. Comes with kydex sheath with TekLok. Has some scratches on the blade, otherwise excellent condition.

The FS1 (Field Stalker 1) is a collaboration between Murray Carter's 26 year/23000 blade forging knowledge with Weimy Cutlery's 20 years of dedicated/decorated service in the Navy Seals. Blade Steel: Super Blue Steel Core laminated with SUS410 Stainless Steel

About the Maker

Carter, Murray

Murray Carter is a 17th generation Yoshimoto bladesmith and ABS Master Bladesmith. Growing up in Eastern Canada, Murray enjoyed outdoor activities which gave him plenty of chances to use a diversity of blades. His disappointment with the blades he was exposed to gave him the desire to make something better. Shortly after graduating from high school, he traveled to Japan where his interest in blades led him to a Japanese bladesmith's shop. In no time at all, Murray was engaged in an apprenticeship under the tutelage of a 16th generation Yoshimoto bladesmith. Upon completing his apprenticeship, he was asked to take the position of number seventeen in the Sakemoto family tradition of Yoshimoto Bladesmithing. After eighteen years of bladesmithing in Japan, Murray and his family moved to Oregon. Murray has forged and completed over 25,000 knives, all of which were faithfully crafted using the traditional techniques from Japan.
