Overview
Mastersmith Murray Carter cites this work as "the world's first pine charcoal heated, water quenched, carbon steel/stainless laminate bladed folding knife". Murray has developed his forging process through the incorporation of techniques from both the east and west. His traditional Eastern forging produces one of the finest sharpest blades that you will own. Murray earned a feature article and provided his own essay in Ken Warner's 20th Annual Edition book, "Knives 2000" which is very interesting and informative reading.
