Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

Sornberger Limited Edition VietNam Commemorative Knife blade made from bead-blasted ATS-34 stainless steel, double bolsters from similar material; handle of rag micarta. With Republic of VietNam miniature service medal inset into "A" side scale. These knives were handmade by Jim Sornberger between 1985-1986. Only 365 knives were produced -- one for each day of a tour in VietNam. Comes with original leather sheath. #30.  Good condition; a bit of rust on guards and early light rust on blade.  Blade Steel: ATS-34

"I have been very fortunate to be a successful knifemaker, engraver, gold and silversmith since the early 70's. My work has been featured in many books and magazines and have won many awards. I am well known for my California gold rush period style work, San Francisco dress knives, canes and my native gold (Gold Quartz work) in Gold or Silver mounted knives, canes and Jewelry work. I have seen, handled and or restored many original pieces from the Gold rush period, from both collectors and dealers and am considered one of a few experts in the field on original California pieces." Inducted into the Blade Magazine Cutlery Hall of Fame in 2020.
