Overview
"These are friction folders, a style without any type of locking mechanism that is rapidly growing in popularity. When they are closed, the tab at the back of the blade sticks out past the frame of the knife allowing for easy one-handed opening. When open, that tab fits down into the back of the knife and pressure from your hand on it holds the blade open. The blade is held closed simply by friction on the pivot. These knives are 5 7/8 inches long open and 3 1/2 inches long closed. The 440C stainless steel blades are 2 3/4 inches long with a full flat grind. The knives have a titanium liner on one side only to keep them as thin and light as possible. The scales are G10 and all screws and pivot are stainless steel." (blurb from makers site)
