This Applegate-Fairbairn Special Commemorative Set is a Limited Edition made in 1997, and is numbered 2293 of 3000. The set includes a Gerber Covert Combat Folder and a Boker Combat Fighter, both serial numbered 2293 and affixed to a walnut plaque. Also includes a certificate of authenticity, signed photographs of Col. Rex Applegate. New in box.This is a one-of-a-kind set in that it is in the original shipping box from Rex's company, Wells Creek Knife and Gun. This set was given by Rex to his cousin Bob and the photographs are addressed to him. Also included is a letter Rex wrote to prospective resellers of the set, an advertising sheet, and certificate of authenticity. As a special bonus, a copy of "Quick or Dead" by William Cassidy that is also a gift to Bob is signed by Rex Applegate.
