Overview
This knife is a reproduction of the original W.R. Case V-42 Stiletto used in World War II. The V-42 was also known as the "Force Knife" and was created for a rugged joint Canadian-American unit known as the First Special Service Force (and called "The Devils Brigade" by the Germans). The Force was the only parachute, amphibious, mountain, cold weather, ski and commando type combat unit of WWII's Allied combat organizations.1/8" blade thickness and 3/4" blade depth. Skull crusher pommel that ends in a point. The long leather sheath was designed to hang low because of the long winter parkas worn by the force. Includes a certificate that details the history of the V-42. Mint condition.
