"The SlimLock is one of the most beautiful knives ever crafted by W.R. Case & Sons. Genuine handles in bone, Amboyna Wood, or presentation grade Mother-of-Pearl and Abalone are shaped perfectly to fit against the nickel silver bolster, and then riveted to the stainless steel liner. A liner that also locks keeps the blade open when cutting for added security. The drop point blade reflects the final polish applied by Case artisans. A true cutting instrument fashioned from BG-42, a high performance, American made alloy steel makes this one of the most innovative designs in the storied history of W.R. Case and Sons. Taper ground, hardened, cryogenically treated, and tempered to register 60 on the Rockwell “C” hardness scale, this blade and cutting instrument is second to none. One final adjustment of the pivot screw (found under the bolster) and Case cutlers make the opening and closing action of the SlimLock as smooth as it can be."Excellent condition; minor scratches on bolsters.
