Overview
Please welcome American Kami's first locking folder, the 1095 SHTF(Shit hits the fan). They're beefy IKBS flippers. Blade steel is 1095 and has a compound chisel grind with a Spyderhole and .090" thick Titanium liners. Handle is coyote brown G10."Every one of these knives has a beefy 25/64" pivot for extra strength, 46 bearings in the IKBS, and all feature the failsafe lock as explained in Bob Terzoula's book "The Tactical Folding Knife," as taught to me by the mighty and benevolent Charles Marlowe himself."
"Normally, a knifemaker with half a brain would build a working prototype first as proof of concept of the mechanics of his design before he went ahead and built a batch of knives. I didn't do that - THESE knives are the prototypes. Because I'm either extremely ballsy or a total dumbass. Probably more of the later and less of the former, but every one worked out just fine."
