Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Layaway Information

Layaway Policies

We offer a layaway plan on select products so you may pay for your order over a period of 60 days. Products that are eligible for layaway will show "Layaway Available: Yes" on the product page.

Here's how it works:

The total amount of the order excluding shipping, tax, or fees is divided into three (3) equal payments. The first payment is due with the order, the second payment is due 30 days later, and the final payment is due 60 days after the order.

There is a $15 non-refundable fee for layaway orders. This fee is added to the first payment along with the shipping and any tax. The first payment is made when the order is placed.

Example: Your order total is $300 plus $12.75 shipping and handling. If you select the layaway option, your payments would be:

  • $127.75 (1/3 of purchase = $100 + $15 layaway fee + $12.75 shipping)
  • $100.00 (1/3 of purchase = $100)
  • $100.00 (1/3 of purchase = $100)

If your initial payment is made by credit card, we will automatically process the 2nd and 3rd payments at the appropriate time using the same credit card information. You will be reminded via email that a payment will be charged. If you need to change this for any reason, please contact us.

For payments made other than credit card, payment must be received within seven (7) days of the due date or the order is subject to cancellation. You will receive a reminder via email that a payment is due.

If you wish to complete payment early and have your order shipped, you may contact us at any time during the 60 day period. There is no penalty for prepayment.

Additional products may be added to a layaway order without penalty. A new payment schedule will be calculated based on when additional products are added.

Cancellations of layaway orders are subject to a restocking/processing fee of 10% of the order total (not including tax and shipping costs). This restocking fee is in addition to the $15 non-refundable layaway fee.

Overview

The Zieba Nine comes on the heels of the Six model, which was a top-notch daily carry companion and the next evolution of the MS3 Manhattan Special. The Nine takes that same design and stretches it out a bit allowing for tactical applications. It has the same impressive pocket profile, taking up minimal space, and is also available in two configurations - a Harpoon and a single-edge Dagger. They each feature the same easy-carrying handle, snappy action, and CPM-MagnaCut blade steel as their smaller predecessor - plus the excellent featherweight nature. The Nine is one of the fastest and most maneuverable knives of its size thanks to heavy machining on the interior of the frames. Chamfered edges provide additional grip and the custom white brass skull spacer provides some excellent aesthetics to go along with the custom flame anodizing. It's incredible how such a small feature can change how much you enjoy a knife in such a drastic way. This Zieba Nine also features stunning silver moth inlays on the handle, adding a touch of artistry and unique character to this exceptional knife, making it a true collector's piece.

So what is moth meaning? Moth medicine's meaning is resurrection and transformation. A moth represents tremendous change, but it also seeks the light. Thus, the spiritual meaning is to trust the changes that are happening and that freedom and liberation are around the corner.

A moth omen also indicates one's habit of falling for things or people that are beyond one's reach. Just as a moth seeks the light and the warmth of a candle and even gets burned in the process, one may be trying too hard to win the love of someone beyond their reach and getting burnt or damaged in the process.

A moth dances around the fire or light source. This may be an indication to not take life too seriously and instead learn to dance while seeking the light. The cocoon of a moth represents bindings and traps, but once it emerges, the adult moth seeks light and liberation. This is very much symbolic of the soul of man that is drawn to Knowledge and Ultimate Truth.

Michael Zieba first moved to the United States from Poland in 2005. His love for craftsmanship and industrial work began with helping his father with his furniture factory when he was only eleven years old. Michael taught himself industrial design and mechanics, as he worked various jobs in construction during his first five years in the United States. Now, a proud Brooklyn local, Michael is the owner of Zieba New York and is the first and only knifemaker in Brooklyn that is part of the Brooklyn Made Chamber of Commerce.
