Overview
This knife titled "Artic Dragon" by Thomas Lofgren features a Mattias Styrefors multi-bar Mosaic Damascus blade with false top edge, .144" blade stock and 1.368" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle is made of fossil mammoth ivory, Mosaic Damascus, fossil artifact walrus ivory, black/silver spacers, has a mosaic Damascus butt plate with a dragon, inlaid silver flowers on the spine of the handle. Comes with a Scandinavian style brown leather sheath and nylon zippered case. New from maker!
Blade: Made by the Swedish bladesmith Mattias Styrefors. Steel is a two bars carbon mosaic Damascus with beautiful pattern with dragons and a lot of other animals and explosion damascus in edge.
Handle: The handle has a front piece of fossil Nord Sea mammoth ivory. The back piece is also from same mammoth. The resting part of handle is a block of fossil Walrus tusk. It comes from a mead on a sledge that has been used by the Inui. The holes in the piece are for lashing the mead with leather straps. The walrus piece is beautiful colored by mother nature. Between the pieces in handle there are one slice of thin and two slices of vulcanized fiber. These spacers are filed down as a decoration. The front and rear pieces are heavy filed. The metal piece in handle is damascus forged by Mattias.
Sheath:
The knife comes with a leather sheath in Nordic style. The sheath is painted with some dragons and some flames. The sheath is also painted with air brush.
