Overview
This knife titled "Beloga" by Thomas Lofgren features a Mattias Styrefors multi-bar Mosaic Damascus blade with fileworked spine and false top edge, .153" blade stock and 1.268" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a mosaic Damascus guard with a fileworked nickel silver plate on the front by the blade, carved and stippled fossil walrus ivory grip, ebony wood/black/silver spacers, has a walrus ivory balls set in the Mosaic Damascus butt plate. Comes with a Scandinavian style brown leather sheath and nylon zippered case. New from maker!
Blade: Made by the Swedish bladesmith Mattias Styrefors. Steel is a two bars carbon mosaic Damascus with beautiful dragonflies pattern. Explosion Damascus in edge.
Handle: A front piece of Damascus steel with a wave pattern forged by Mattias. Just in front there is also a decorated slice of Sterling silver. The big part in handle is a piece of fossil walrus tusk. Between the steal and the walrus ivory it is a slice of black Ebony wood. On rear part of handle a piece of the forged blade steel has been attached by two small cabochons.
Sheath: The knife comes with a leather sheath in Nordic Style. The sheath is painted with some dragon flies. The sheath is also painted with air brush.
