Overview
The Kestrel Feather is a lightweight and more compact version of the venerable 18" Eagle Talon. This multi-roll tomahawk was designed to be fast and light, it comes in at just 19oz, and 13.25" long. It offers full tang construction made from 1/4" 80CRV2 carbon steel that has a Tungsten Cerekote finish for corrosion resistance and wear. This is a heavy use tool, the full tang construction absorbs the punishment while the hardened striking surface on the head delivers it back without chipping or shattering. The permanently attached G10 handle scales offer a contoured 3D texture that works great both wet and dry without being overly aggressive. The 3 inch forward edge is razor sharp and that is combined with a 3" distal tapered spike that can be used for digging, shattering tempered glass, penetrating sheet metal, it can be used to hack through concrete and wood, to breaking chains and hardened padlocks. The Kestrel Feather tomahawk is a very capable, lightweight hiking and camping tool. From chopping wood, to camp site clearing, food preparation, the tomahawk is an incredible cutting tool for a lot of tasks. It is also an important piece of kit for first responder's that require a tool for breach and extraction work. The 13.25" length won't impede movement yet can make quick work of anything that it comes in contact with!
This one has a very nicely cerakoted finish with black/purple/blue/white galaxy theme. Comes with original box, sheath and papers. Has a couple sheath scuffs, excellent condition otherwise.
