Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This RTG Tanto by Howard Viele features a bead blasted chisel ground tanto blade with notched thumbrest and a thumbhole. The handle has bead blasted titanium bolsters and liners, black G-10 scales, black linen micarta backspacer, and a tip up stainless steel clip. Nice detent, lockup and blade seating. Comes in a soft pouch, has a couple light scuffs otherwise Excellent condition.

"Howard Viele is at the pinnacle of the list of knifemakers hand making high-tech modern liner-locks from his Westwood, New Jersey Shop. He became a knifemaker through an unusual quest. After attaining the rank of "Sandan" (3rd degree black belt) in Karate in 1973, he became interested in the weaponry associated with the martial arts. When Howard began making knives, there was no one in the area to teach him any secrets and shortcuts, so he learned to make knives through trial and error, thus no particular knifemaker's designs have influenced his work. He has been a member of the Knifemakers' Guild since 1976 and is also a member of the German Knifemakers' Guild." Howard passed away in 2019.
