What we mean by normal use?
You can pound it into gravel or other hard ground - and you still won't see any damage from it. And with the sharpened edges of the head, cutting through roots or branches will be almost as easy as with an axe.
In short, it is suitable both for ordinary garden work and for an extreme bushcraft trip.
How is such endurance possible?
This is the work of Polish blacksmiths, which you can feel in your hand.
After the initial laser cutting, the shovel head is forged by our own hands from 2.5 mm chrome vanadium spring steel, which is then hardened to a hardness of 55 HRC.
On the other hand, the shovel shank is made by the turner from acacia wood, so the material will not crack even under heavy loads.
In addition, the head and the stylus are coated with natural linseed varnish, which repeatedly increases the resistance of the shovel to the harmful effects of rain, snow or sunshine.
Some say the Panzer Spade is as durable as the People's Army infantry shovel.
It is certainly much lighter than it, as it weighs only 0.5 kg. That's as much as 3 times less weight to carry!
At the same time, the Panzer Spade fits perfectly in the hand, so it is extremely handy. And its dimensions will allow you to strap it comfortably to your backpack or belt - without fear of it getting in the way when walking.
