Overview

We love multipurpose tools, and Graz fits that role in a lot of ways. Tons of design time went into creating a four-finger meat tenderizer, napkin holder, paperweight, forehead scratcher. We wrapped all of those features up in 9.2 ounces of old school brass.

Instead of machining Graz, we decided that Investment Casting was a cool way to go. Investment casting, also known as lost-wax casting is one of the oldest known metal forming techniques, Investment casting has been used in various forms for the last 5,000 years. So, they have street cred and a certain old school character that you can't get with machining.

These aren't for carrying around, they are a kitchen utensil. Don't do dumb stuff and break laws. Texas and a growing number of states don't mind if you slip them in your back pocket, and some states will issue a permit for such a crazy idea. Do yourself a favor and research it for your locality so you don't make us say "we told you so!"

Due to the hand-finished nature, each Graz patina and finish will vary slightly from piece to piece.

About the Maker

American Tomahawk Company
American Tomahawk Company

Unless you're in a combat zone with U.S. Soldiers or about to breach an entry with Federal Law Enforcement, you normally don't see them. Most of the time, they're modestly stowed in kit bags or rucksacks until needed. When unsheathed however, they are decisive…powerful…and unforgettable. American Tomahawk's tactical axes are accessible from more LBVs, military vehicles, police car trunks, and breach sets than any other manufacturer's axe, period. This hard earned reputation came from producing indestructible tools of almost mysterious light weight. Peter LaGana founded the American Tomahawk Company in 1966 with the original Vietnam Tomahawk design. Sporting a wood handle and a uniquely designed axe head, nearly 4000 Vietnam Tomahawks served Soldiers and Marines in the jungles of Southeast Asia. Today, American Tomahawk pays homage to its history by combining proven designs with modern materials. The resulting performance gains make our products indispensable to those who go into harm's way. The versatility of our Tomahawks is limited only by the user's imagination. They're light and fast. We make them so you can't break them. Do your job and do it well. American Tomahawk won't fail you. Expect nothing less.
