Most everybody who has collected switchblades for any amount of time knows, or has heard of Brad West. In our opinion he is the “Ambassador of Switchblade Knives”. In the infancy of collecting we had “The Newsletter” (Automatic Knife Resource Guide) out of California published by Sheldon Levy. Brad was very generous in sharing his collection with the readers, and has also been quick to share his expertise in this great hobby.
These knives were a joint effort between Brad West and a friend of Brad’s from France. These were designed to compete with the mini UDT by Microtech and are rather unique in that the handle is all one piece (Integral Construction) and is assembled through the back pivot area. They were know by the name Nitrox 98, and were sterile. These are all brand new, recently uncovered from a friend of brads and offered through PVK.
