This knife was made by Enedino De Leon in 1978, after Hipp purchased ownership of the Ralph Bone Knife Co in 1976. De Leon taught Hipp everything that he learned about knife making. Hipp had never made a knife, until he purchased the company in 1976; previously, he was a saw blade maker. According to De Leon, he (De Leon) made all the knives that were sold at Ralph Bone Knife Co, from the time that Bone left in mid-1974 until De Leon left in 12/1978. - Huxley Walters
