Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

In 2009 Victorinox celebrated their 125th Year with the release of the Jubilee Series, that contained several special edition Swiss Army Knives and also some other items. The series had a few unique features:

  • A special Jubilee Anniversary Logo: 125 YEARS YOUR COMPANION FOR LIFE  was etched into the primary blade on each knife
  • The Victorinox cross and shield emblem was printed in a special pattern in gold on red handles
  • The knives were packaged in a 125th Anniversary box, that included a red cloth drawstring pouch for the knife
  • The Cybertool had a serial number stamped on the liner behind the corkscrew
  • The SwissCard was packaged with a real leather Weekend Wallet  that included a mirror, and also had space for a couple of credit cards

The showpiece of the series was a replica of the first Swiss Soldier Knife delivered to the Swiss Army in 1891. The Jubilee Soldier model, known as the 125th Anniversary Heritage Swiss Army Knife, was produced as a limited edition of four collections, each consisting of 1884 pieces.

In 1884, Karl Elsener opened his cutler’s workshop in Ibach-Schwyz. At this time Switzerland was still one of the poorer countries in Europe. In the early years Karl Elsener worked to combat poverty and unemployment in the Schwyz basin, creating jobs and helping stem the flow of emigration. In 1891 he supplied the soldier’s knife to the Swiss Army for the first time. He went on to develop the Swiss Officer’s and Sports Knife – now the iconic Swiss Army Knife – in 1897, creating the foundation for a flourishing company that would be able to hold its own on the world stage.
