Overview
The Kyomi is a compact frame lock folder which combines the unmistakable design of Jesper Voxnaes with innovative features such as a ball bearing pivot and two different backspacers. Both function in exactly the same way and feature an integral lanyard hole, but this model, with its jimping in lieu of a full-titanium lanyard tube, is much more usable and lightweight by comparison. The Kyomi is comfortable to hold and to carry thanks to its properly chamfered edges and thin profile while the finger groove on the handle and choil on the blade make for a very secure grip. The knife features a robust sculpted titanium clip which is reversible for ambidextrous tip-up carry and a replaceable hardened steel lockbar insert. If you're a fan of Jesper's Odino model but wish it had a flipper mechanism, then the Kyomi is the knife for you.
