Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This Fighter by George Herron features a mirror polished blade with a sharpened top edge, .198" blade stock and 1.054" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. The handle has a stainless steel guard and pins, mammoth ivory scales with black liners. Stamped 1383 on the tang. Comes with a brown leather sheath also marked 1383. Has a couple small cracks in the scales near the pins, otherwise excellent condition. Comes with a zippered case.

George Herron was a significant player in the custom knife world. He was well known for his exquisitely crafted and designed stock removal knives, he specialized in hunting knives and skinners, he has a significant collector following. He was a past president of the Knifemakers Guild and founded the South Carolina Knifemakers Guild, in 1987 he was inducted into the Blade Cutlery Hall of Fame. George passed away in 2007.
