Premium materials, premium finish
A striking difference when compared to the previous edition is the type of steel. After all, this knife is made from ZDP189 steel. A stainless type of steel that is known for its exceptional hardness and how well it retains its sharpness. Definitely a type of super steel. The standoffs between the two handles are stylishly coated in black. Just like the blade. The handle has been enhanced with a coyote-tan DLC coating. The geometric design on the presentation side of the knife looks great and offers you enough grip!

The Zero Tolerance 0450FCZDP is also easy to use. It feels great in hand and smoothly opens due to the use of KVT ball bearings. With the flipper the blade will shoot from the handle, without ever needing a spring. When opened the blade is locked by a very solid framelock. To prevent the titanium from affecting the steel blade the lockbar has been enhanced with a steel insert. As a result the lockup is comprised of steel on steel contact which completely excludes any wear and tear. This insert serves an additional purpose: it also works as a ‘overtravel stop’. This means that the lock cannot be overstretched when unlocked. As a result the lock will stay in perfect condition for years to come.
The Zero Tolerance 0450FCZDP is, because of its limited size and weight, a perfect pocket knife for EDC-use. Nevertheless, it still offers a total blade length of 8.3 cm which means that you can use it for many different tasks.
