Overview
Liong Mah Designs
The Zulu is a smaller EDC folder from Liong Mah inspired by a Zulu slip joint. It features a Bohler M390 stainless steel blade, flipper opening, and a sturdy frame lock. There is also a nail nick on the blade that is functional for opening but it's such a smooth flipper, we'd probably never use it. The contoured titanium handles are inlaid with a choice of carbon fiber or micarta and they fit perfectly flush into the frames. The 3/4-length titanium backspacer is jimped for a little additional grip while including space for a hidden lanyard post. A reversible Todd Begg ceramic ball pocket clip and replaceable lockbar insert complete this stellar package. It's just the right size to disappear in the pocket while still being very useable when deployed.
