Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.
Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.
For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

This knife features an antique finished blade with a sharpened top edge and fileworked spine, .253" blade stock and 1.756" blade depth, full tapered tang construction. The handle has a fluted brass guard, bone scales with brass pins. Comes with a hand tooled brown leather sheath. Excellent condition.

My name is Carlton L. Matteo, and my wife (and business manager) of more than 48 years, Kathy, is pictured here with me. I've been blacksmithing for over forty years now, and I plan to keep doing it for many years more. I bought my first anvil from an 84 year old smith in Pennsylvania who was still working, so I plan to follow in his footsteps! I've been picking up tips and techniques from other smiths and learning from a lifetime of my own mistakes. I have a shop in our backyard, but there is no showroom or store front.
