Overview
If you're not familiar with Master Smith Dan Winkler's knives, take a close look at this one. Dan crafts blades in the 18th century woodsman tradition and some of his pieces look to be museum displays. This Belt Knife features a clip point blade with forged textured flats and a fileworked thumbrest, .238" blade stock and 1.335" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle has a pinned stag grip. Rawhide covered leather sheath with fringe and tin cones. Beautiful piece for collectors and re-inactors alike. Has some light scratches, and patina, handle has some cracks. Good condition otherwise.
