Overview
Some of the best-known combat knives of all time have evolved to become true icons in the knife world. The Ka-Bar, and others from the battlefields of World War II, are still some of the most recognizable knife designs to this day. The Combat Africa is a modern rendition of a knife from the great lineage of combat knives from the trenches, jungles, and beaches of the Second World War. The Combat Africa is a true workhorse, and while it may look great in your collection, it also begs to be used!
The knife is 12" in total length with a 7" blade made from 80CRV2 Carbon Steel. The 1/4" thick, oversized stock used for this knife is tough enough to handle anything you can throw at it. A long, deep fuller profile provides strength as well as a reduced surface area for deeper penetration. The clip point design is ideal for puncturing, and the curved blade allows for better surface area on cuts as well. The knife is finished with a Tungsten Cerakote finish for added corrosion resistance and durability, while providing a low visibility look.
The full-tang handle features super durable and grippy 3D contoured G10 handle scales. G-10 is a superior handle material compared to the old stacked leather handles or Bakelite style of yesteryear. The G10 material provides a sure grip in any weather or climate condition. A Kydex scabbard is included with two MAD straps for belt or pack carry.
