Overview
We are phasing out tube rivet construction for attaching handles and replacing them with handle hardware as you can see with this new UCAP edition. The hardware will allow simple handle changes to give you the chance to run any color handles you would like.
The UCAP (Up Close and Personal) is a mid-sized fixed blade knife that is well suited for everyday carry and a wide array of other uses. The UCAP was created with a defensive purpose in mind, but is also well equipped for various cutting chores, from first responder type situations, outdoor activities, or just about anything else you can throw at it. The handle is slightly shorter to allow easier concealment, but still offering a nice large blade. Think 1911 CCO style, Officer size frame with a Commander length barrel. This particular group are hand textured and finished in Black Elite Cerakote for unique look.
The UCAP has a bowie-style clip point blade made from Nitro-V stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness rating of 59-60. The knife features a 4" blade that includes a Black Elite Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and durability.
Weighing in at only 5.2 oz, the UCAP is deceptively light, yet well suited for everyday use as well as being a reliable tactical style knife. The beveled and contoured G10 grips feature a diagonal texturing that offers a very secure grip without being overly aggressive or uncomfortable, performing well in wet or dry conditions.
The kydex sheath can be run scout or IWB, and is MOLLE compatible so it can be attached to any pack, plate carrier or similar gear with PALS webbing. The scabbard will work with most of the popular clips and mounts like the Discreet Carry Concepts Clip and UltiClip.
