Overview
The SM-Special is CKF's first collaboration with Alexey Vorobyov but we hope it won't be the last. It is an extremely appealing flipper with a clean, sophisticated look and interesting locking side design. Interesting in the fact that the pocket clip sits in what we would describe as a track, like that of the switch on an OTF knife. It's an interesting way of keeping the thickness the same on each side, where only one has the inlay. The SM-Special doesn't do anything different apart from the liner lock being inset against the titanium frame but it is extremely pleasant to flip and to use. The machined backspacer is made of zirconium for a subtle wow factor and we think Alexey Vorobyov has a winner here with this design. Get one!
