Overview
ure fighter, this model harks back to battle blades such as the Nepalese kukri, Turkish yataghan, and Greek kopis. Its deep belly and recurve makes for a devastating chopper, but the spear-like tip also excels at piercing. Textured and contoured G10 scales provide optimum grip, slim enough to pack without sacrificing tactility and comfort. Under the scales, the tang is skeletonized to reduce weight and facilitate my ideal overall balance. We machined these a little differently than previous models, choosing subtle perpendicular bevel striations that allow for efficient material hogging and also look really nice (IMHO). CMP-3V is an extremely tough steel, allowing for a very acute edge angle, making this short sword an exquisite slicer. Finally, the included Kydex sheath is finished off with a pivoting Blade-Tech Tek Lok®, which makes for a smooth draw from belt carry and makes maneuvering in tight spaces much easier.
