Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This integral personal knife by Burt Foster features a hand rub satin finished W2 blade with nice hamon, .190" blade thickness and .962" blade depth at the ricasso, integral tapered tang construction. The handle has an integral bolster, stag scales held with 6 nickel silver pins. Tang and bolster are mirror polished along with the blade spine. Great look and feel. Excellent work. Dated 2009. Comes with a hand tooled brown leather sheath, Excellent condition. 2.5" blade and 6.5" overall.

ABS Mastersmith (2004) Burt Foster started making knives as a hobby at nineteen, full time in 2001. Burt forges 52100, W-2, and his own Damascus, as well as doing his own heat treating. "I had an opportunity in my late twenties to leave the indoor safety of a regular job, and see if once again, I could step further into the unknown and make a living from the hobby I loved. Every day I leave my house in Virginia and walk about 300 feet to my shop and continue the adventure.
