Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Searles Bowie by Brooks Knives features a nearly mirror polished blade with false top edge, .232" blade stock and 1.605" blade depth, hidden tang construction. The handle is gorgeous and was custom made by Terry Renner, it has a fluted stainless steel guard, fileworked and anodized titanium spacer and butt, an amboyna burl grip with mirror polished stainless steel escutcheons and decorative pin inlays. Terry's mark is engraved on the butt of the handle. Comes with a brown leather sheath with belt loop and a nylon zippered case. Has a few very light scratches, otherwise excellent condition.

"I am a past 3-term President of The Florida Knifemakers' Association. I learned my craft initially from several Knifemaker's Guild members living in my hometown of Estes Park, Colorado. R.D Nolen, T.J. Yancy, and Howard Robbins were kind enough to invite me into their shops. At that time I also began doing deep-relief carving, and have incorporated this feature into many of my creations. I also do carving for other makers. All carvings you see illustrated were done by me. I am also the officially endorsed PUMA® Knife restoration expert." Terry passed away in March of 2023.
