Fischer, Clyde
Clyde Fischer started making knives in the late 1960's as a hobby and it turned into a lot bigger thing than he anticipated. All of his friends were wanting knives, then they suggested he ought to go into full-time knife making so he did. His hobby turned into a full-fledged business, which is what started his son Sammy Fischer in the trade of knife making also. Inducted into the ABS Bladesmithing Hall of Fame in 2006. Clyde passed away in 2001.
