Maxson, Larren (ELM Knives)

Larren Maxson has been a professional artist for over 20 years and is based in Denver, CO. His early passion and B.A. is in animation, and he began his career at Lockheed Martin as a 3D Animator. During and after college, Larren worked in the live music industry as a Lighting Designer at local venues, and he later co-owned an art, print, and design company. Knives have been a love of Larren’s since he was a little kid, and has been an avid collector his whole life. When the opportunity arose to learn knife-making from Nick Swan, he jumped in with both feet and ëLM Knives was born. For the past four years, Larren has been honing his craft and hasn't looked back. He has blended all of his passions and experiences into doing what he feels he’s supposed to be doing: weaving his unique style into the knife world.
