I am 22 years old and I live in Bernalillo NM. I work in a one man shop and I have been making knives for around three years full time for the past year. My business name is named after my grandfather and I started this knife making adventure as a tribute to him. I like to only use high carbon steel such as 1075, 1095, and 1084. My knives tend to be on the larger size and are to be directed toward outdoor sportsman. I use all sorts of handle materiel for my knives, yet my favorite is dyed burl woods. All my leather sheaths are made by me and have my own look to them. I use rivets instead of sewing because I feel they are stronger and add a little old school feel to them.
