Cooper, Paul
Paul Cooper is a full time maker who specializes in forged and hand finished fixed blades. He prefers to use tool steel, damascus and natural materials. His works are one of a kind and often inspired by traditional or historic pieces. Paul sold his first piece at the 2006 OKCA show in Eugene, Oregon and was recognized at that show as 'Best New Maker' and has also been recognized by Blade Magazine as a 2010 maker-to-watch. Paul's work work has been exhibited in the National Heritage Museum in Lexington, Massachusetts alongside the work of his mentor and friend, JD Smith.
