Last Knives
"I start making knives in the middle of 2017 just for fun. After I lost my job at the end 2017 I started to focus on making knives full time. I was learning from other makers and blacksmiths practicing and testing many types of steels. I primary use W2, O1, and sup9a (5160), secondary D2 (for corrosion resistance) and M2 for highly wear resistance. I chose W2, O1, and sup9a primary because its very easy to get very fine grain in the steel. That means it is very easy to sharpen but long lasting edge retention and upgraded toughness level. Those are the characteristics loved so much by chefs and hunters that need clean cutting knives. For handle material I like natural exotic wood and usually horn, also fossil ivory with non ferrous metal like brass, copper and some bronze."
