Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This is a larger custom version of Shane's Scout model. 1/4" blade stock. 1 5/8" blade depth. Sharpened top edge. Non-abrasive thumb friction grooves for better control of blade pressure under adverse conditions. The "Blood-grooves" in the blade not only reduce the overall weight of the knife, but mitigate torsional rigidity. The 410 S.S. guard is precision fit, peened with two 1/8" diameter stainless steel rods, and then fused to the blade tang for a moister seal barrier. Large diameter titanium tubing is flared for a indestructible handle and tang unity. the tubing, while reducing weight, also allows the knife to be lashed to a pole as a spear in dire situations if need be. "I started making knives in 1994 with the idea of creating blade ware that is simple, practical and efficient. I have been a full-time knifemaker since 2004. Keeping with the theme of practicality, I avoid large metal guards, bolsters and heavy pommels to keep the knives balanced and agile in the hand. Materials have been carefully selected to ensure optimal edge retention and low maintenance. Although the knives incorporate slim handle slabs to decrease unwanted bulk and weight, the handles contour the hand for a synergistic fit.
