This knife was made in 1977 from 440C steel stock. This is an extremely rare piece. Shiva Ki has always searched the world over for the most exotic and limited availability materials for his finest knives. He will take the finest of these rare pieces and mae one-of-a-kind not likely to be repeated. The rarest of fossil ivories and oosics, African exotic horn, ivory teeth and tusks. This practice has set him apart to any other conventional makers. Less then twelve Tantos were ever produced and this model is one of the prettiest the maker has made with a handle from fossil walrus ivory. This is a full tnag construction knife with red spacers and stainless steel bolsters. The ivories two slabs handle are breath-taking and have survived the age of time in aging in a remarkable way which is beautifully colored from the years and weather. Comes with a heavy duty sheath.
