Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Tail Lock by Robert White features a mirror polished drop point blade with nail nick. The handle has integral stainless steel dovetailed bolsters and liners, vintage ivory paper micarta scales, stainless steel backspacer. Nice lockup and blade seating. Has some light scratches, otherwise excellent condition. Has a nice snap when opening. Comes with brown leather sheath. Made in the early 80's.

About the Maker

White, Bob

Robert (Bob) Jennings White (1927- 2015) was a WWII Navy veteran and very accomplished machinist and gunsmith who worked at Rock Island Armory for several years. He went into full time gun smithing and knife making in the early 1980s. He was a renowned rifle builder making several 1000 yard winners as well as an excellent knife maker. His mark for auto knives was two triangles forming a square. All other knifes it was a stamp of his last name in cursive.
