Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This Hunter from Shawn Ellis featurs a satin finish clip point blade with swedge. The handle is comprised of a fluted nickel silver guard and stag handle over hidden tang construction. Includes leather sheath with belt loop and padded/zippered case. Some minor staining on blade and patina on nickel silver, but otherwise great condition.

"I’m lucky and live in the beautiful Ozarks of Mountain View, Arkansas. I love to hunt and I was having a lot of problems finding a good knife to skin out a deer that would stay sharp. I bought several expensive knives from well known companies but each and every one of them would go dull after using them a few times. During this time I worked at one of the last American Blacksmith Shops in America where we hand forged everything from high end furniture to custom chandeliers. Lucky for me one day a Master Bladesmith came to our company and put on a knife making demonstration. I was amazed watching him taking a piece of steel and turning it into a beautiful and functional blade right in front of my eyes. The performance, the craftsmanship, and artistry he showed while a Bowie knife was amazing! I was instantly hooked! By the way, the Master Bladesmith was the Famous, Jim Crowell. I am a member of the ABS. Forged in Fire champion season 4, episode 14."
