Shipping Policy

Any customers with separate shipping and billing addresses are subject to follow up contact. If no contact can be made, your order will be cancelled. Please understand that this policy is to protect our customers from fraud and theft.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically when you checkout. Orders to P.O. Boxes or military addresses require shipping via USPS.

Orders placed by 3:00pm EST will be shipped the same day. All orders shipped USPS (including Express) may take an additional business day to process and ship. We strongly recommend shipping UPS if you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date.

For our international customers, you must call or email after ordering to arrange for duties/customs and declarations before we will ship your order. USPS Express International shipments with declarations greater than $200, incur an additional $15.00 fee for postage/insurance.

Overview

This "Gen 3" Small El Patron Framelock Folder has a dark acid washed CTS-XHP drop point flat ground blade with thumb hole and notched thumb rest. Presentation side of handle is zirconium, lock side is stonewashed titanium with matching tip up clip. Being a Gen 3 model, it has the stainless steel lockbar insert, and pivot bearings. Very impressive lockup, detent and blade centering. Exceptionally well made piece. These are NOT easy to find. Excellent condition. A small bit of patina around thumb hole on blade, but mint condition otherwise. Comes with original tube packaging and Calavera Cutlery dog tag. Blade Steel: Dark Acidwashed CTS-XHP

My name is Jeremy Robertson. I am the custom knife maker and owner of Calavera Cutlery LLC located in San Diego County California. I started crafting knives in 2008 as a hobby on my days off as an airline pilot. I fell in love with the trade. I have now been a full time maker since 2010. I started off making fixed blades, draw filing in my kitchen. Then forging knives and tomahawks in my garage the old school way. I now make folders using modern materials such as titanium and powdered steels and using more modern methods of precision manufacturing. The name Calavera is Spanish for "skull". There is an extinct volcano here in Carlsbad that was on my ancestor's ranch that the Vaqueros (Mexican Cowboys) called Calavera. It is known today as Calavera Hills. My knives are 100% hand made by me using the best materials available. All the raw materials I purchase from the steel to the handle material and the screws are made in the U.S.A. To me it's not made in the U.S.A unless the materials in the product are made here too.
