M.G. Muhlhauser & Sohne is a fine knife company started and run every minute of every day with passion. We have a passion for making epic knives. A passion for hunting. A passion for family. A passion for life. We don't just build knives. We build treasures and are makers of functional art. We make blades that are used by people like us. Folks who understand and appreciate quality. Those who appreciate that something special made by hand. Something that will last a lifetime of use, and then be proudly passed down to the next generation. So please allow me tell you a little bit about us, where we come from, and a bit about our unique company which makes knives that are cherished by those who own and use them. My name is Markus Muhlhauser. I love making knives, love hunting, love to travel, and place family before all else. I had been making knives as a hobby for a number of years. Lots of weekends were spent in my garage grinding away at steel and wood. I kept busy making mistakes, learning and getting better. Since those days, the company has grown nicely and now employs some great folks who share my passion. While the company grew, our space did not, and we are now located in a nice building in the rolling hills of Ellington, Connecticut. We have standing corn, turkey and deer outside of our offices and workshops. And a little airport out back where skydivers come to play. It's a pretty cool place.
