Overview
This linerlock folder features a carved Damascus blade with single elephant ivory inlaid thumbstud. The handle has colored Damascus bolsters with ruby inlays, fluted elephant, fileworked and anodized titanium liners, and fileworked and colored Damascus backspacer. Nice detent and blade seating. Comes with a black leather sheath with a cobra skin inlay and a walnut display box. Excellent condition.This knife was a joint effort between John Cohea and his daughter Layla, David Winston, Chad Nichols and Don Hall. It was made, donated and raffled off to raise money foor the March of Dimes. General knife construction was done by John Cohea and his daughter Layla, David Winston fit and fluted the handle material and crafted the thumbstud, Don Hall did the filework, gold plating, jewel inlays, and grinding, carving, heat treating and etching on the blade. All the Damascus was made and donated by Chad Nichols. Wayne Cohea made and donated a glass topped, black walnut display case, and Dave Cole made and donated a cobra skin inlayed sheath.
